Medical-grade silicone

This silicone is biocompatibility tested to ISO 10993 standards and is suitable for extended internal use. It is used in our main product range and is designed for up to 16 hours of continuous wear.

This material is commonly used in medical devices and has undergone rigorous testing to ensure safety and comfort.

FDA-approved body-safe silicone

This silicone is used only in our starter
fitting set, which includes all four sizes. It's FDA-approved and is also tested under REACH SVHC, California Proposition 65, and other chemical safety standards.

It is commonly used in adult intimate
products. The fitting set is intended for short periods of use of up to 60
minutes, more than enough time to find the most comfortable and effective size
before purchasing your long-wear version.

Care and Cleaning

Care and Cleaning

Wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and unscented soap for at least 20 seconds.

To clean you will need a mild, fragrance-free soap, warm water, a clean towel, and a sanitized surface for drying.

Initial Rinse

• Hold the silicone part under a stream of warm (not hot) water.

• Rotate gently with your fingers to remove surface residue.

• Avoid using brushes or abrasive cloths.

Soap Wash

• Apply a small amount of mild, unfragranced soap.

• Gently rub the surfaces of the silicone between your fingers, especially around any grooves and into the holes.

• Avoid scrubbing hard to preserve the material.

Final Rinse

• Rinse under warm water for at least 30 seconds.

• Ensure all soap residue is removed to prevent irritation or thrush.

Air Drying and Storage

• Air dry on a sanitised surface only, do not pat dry with a cloth.

• Store at ambient room temperature between 10˚C to 30˚C.

• Store in a clean, dry container away from sunlight and moisture.

Optional: Professional Cleaning

Soma Therapies Silicone is compatible with the autoclave cleaning.
